FIJI YOUTH COACH WORKSHOP LEADS UP TO YOUTH CHALLENGE
Duane Underwood helped to facilitate and this means that FHF have 2 trained facilitators now after the 2 recent workshops. The first day was held at FASANOC and the modules covered were - Understanding the Athlete, Programme Management, Coaching Process and Rules Awareness.The next 2 days were at the National Stadium where most of the activities involved practicals. The coaches were put into groups to prepare and present a warm up and small game appropriate for their given age group - 5-8, 9-12, 13-16 years of age. The presentations were very well done. On the last day the media attended - both paper and TV.
