World Champion heads to Sydney

With over 300 players from 29 countries participating in this year’s Yonex Australian Open Grand Prix Gold in Sydney, the numbers have exceeded organisers expectations and compared with other major tournaments and will put this event amongst the largest number of entries being played anywhere around the world.

World No.5 and 2010 World Champion Chen Jin (China) heads the field which includes former World and Olympic Champion Taufik Hidayat (Indonesia).

Venue: Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour.

Matches from qualifying stages to 2rd rounds (Tue & Wed) = $20 each day

Third round matches (Thursday) = $30

Quarter-finals (Friday) = $40

Semi-finals (Saturday) = $40

Final (Sunday) = $40

* Junior discount $10 off.

Weekend passes for all quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals are $100.

Season pass for the entire event from Tue-Sun is $150.

VIP season pass is $250.

There are only limited seatings available for the public so please purchase your tickets early.
