Oceania President Guest Speaker at World Badminton Forum

Badminton World Federation are hosting a Womens Forum during the Annual General Meetings and Geraldine has been asked to present. She will be discussing ideas on how to attract more women to the board room. 

Geraldine Brown was elected as the President of Badminton Oceania in February 2012 and she joins a long list of women who hold governance roles in Badminton Oceania Member Associations. Geraldine is herself President of Badminton Australia. And there others who have made in‐roads into the board rooms in badminton, in Oceania.

Badminton Oceania currently have three women out of seven board members, so what can be learnt from Oceania?  What are they doing right? Members can find out by attending the BWF Women's Forum held on Sunday 27 May 2012 from 9.00am to Noon at the official 2012 Thomas Cup and Uber Cup Finals hotel (New World Hotel, Wuhan, Hubei, China)
