NZ Team for Oceania Champs
On Wednesday, Swimming New Zealand (SNZ) announced a 12-swimmer team for the 2012 Oceania Championships, which are May 28-June 2 in Noumea, New Caledonia.
Australian Olympic Swim Team
The battle for medals in the pool at the London Olympic Games will be fierce and swimmers selected to represent Australia are capable of taking down the world’s best.
After eight days of spectacular racing at the Olympic Trials in Adelaide, 44 athletes (21 men and 23 women) have been officially selected onto the Swimming Section of the 2012 Australian Olympic Team. The final night was capped off with Cate and Bronte Campbell going 1-2 in the 50m freestyle to be the first Australian swimming siblings to qualify in the same event at the Olympics and the first siblings since 1972..

The New Zealand Olympic Committee has announced one of the biggest New Zealand Swim Teams for the London Olympic Games.
FINA Bureau Appointments
The FINA Bureau has approved the nominations from the Oceania Swimming Association of Dennis Miller (OSA President) as FINA Vice President for Oceania and Matthew Dunn as the new FINA Bureau member for Oceania.
Workshop a great Success!

Representatives from all member federations of the Oceania Swimming Association, plus associate members Hawaii and New Caledonia completed an intensive 3 day development workshop in Nadi, Fiji last week.
Regional Development Workshop
The Oceania Swimming Association will be conducting its first ever Regional Development Workshop at the Tanoa International Hotel, Nadi, Fiji from 4 - 6 March.
The Workshop is aimed at:
- steering our members towards success in future regional and international competitions
- developing all FINA disciplines in Oceania
- drawing up a calendar of development clinics
- improving coaching skills in our members
- increasing Technical Officials skills in Oceania

2011 DIVING DOWNUNDER
The Oceania Diving Olympic Qualifier and the Asia Pacific Rim Junior Diving Invitational events were held concurrently in Wellington, New Zealand from August 19-21. As organisers, Wellington High Performance Aquatics (WHiPA) hosted young athletes from some of the top diving countries which included 65 elite springboard and platform divers competing from New Zealand, China, Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Croatia and India.
