SDA Competition Going Strong!

Jumo Ball to start the match in the SDA Basketball League

Every Sunday afternoon from 2pm at the Chuuk SDA School people gather to participate in the local basketball competition. With up to 3 games a day, scoretable officials, referees and a hand-made score board the competition is extremely popular with all. The competition attracts much interest from many spectators looking for a good way to spend their Sunday afternoon.

The league is open to all that wish to participate and all of the volunteers that work together to make it so successful should be congratulated for all of their hard work. The matches are of a high quality with many talented Chuukese basketball players showing off their amazing athleticism and shooting skills.

This competition sets an excellent example for other communities throughout Chuuk and the FSM to follow. WELL DONE!
