Change for basketball

BASKETBALL Fiji will have to reschedule their Primary School competition due to Government orders. Basketball Fiji's development officer Laisiasa Puamau said he received a memo from the Ministry of Education stating that extra-curricular activities were not to be conducted during school days. He said that they were going to reschedule their program to accommodate the Primary School competitions on Saturdays. The games will begin at the end of next month. However, the High School Basketball competition is still set to take off every Friday afternoons by the end of next month. Puamau has been running a very successful development program at primary and secondary schools since the beginning of this year and is looking forward to watching them perform on the court. His assistant Nicholas Wong has been running things at Ed's Court. In the Western Division, two primary schools will be making their way to Suva for the competition.
