Youth development

YOUNG basketball enthusiasts have been given the best opportunity to sharpen their skills during the school holidays. Basketball Fiji
development officer Laisiasa Puamau is heading the clinics, which started yesterday and will end on Saturday at Eds Courts in Raiwaqa.
With the big number of raw talent and potential in the country, Puamau said it was about developing the sport at grass root level. "We want to
continue from our primary schools development competition," Puamau said. "The kids are taught the basic fundamentals, which includes
dribbling, passing and shooting."
