Donation for airfares: Puamau

Fiji Tattslotto donated $2000 to the Fiji Basketball Under-19 teams at the Fiji Tattslotto headquarters in Suva yesterday.
The Fiji Basketball U19 teams will be playing in the Oceania Youth championship in Melbourne, Australia on November 26.
Fiji Tattslotto executive director Graeme Brown said this is the first time they are supporting basketball for international matches.
“It is our privilege to support the Fiji Basketball Under-19 team to Australia. These young and talented players we know will do well during the youth championship.
“Since this is the first time we are sponsoring them we will make sure that we give them the best and we want to wish them the best of luck in Australia and let’s aim for a victory,” Brown said.
Fiji Basketball development officer Laisiasa Puamau said the funds would be used to pay for their airfares.
“We want to thank Fiji Tattslotto for the great assistance they have given us this will really boost the player’s preparation and performance in Australia. This money will cover the cost of the player’s airfares,” Puamau said.
“Both teams are ready to battle next week and they have been preparing really well and all we want right now is the support from the public.”
