2008 BUSINESS HOUSES COMPETITION

The Business House competition was all about getting to know each other from different work places in a basketball game. Its always nice to see Directors, CEO and Managers of company playing in business house competition makes them level with their junior staffs its an awesome atmosphere, differences are being put aside and all participating and showing off their different skills and wanting to imitate Michael Jordon and other famous basketball players.

This year we only had a few teams but this did not dampen the Business House competition where we started with pools of 4 in a round robin. At the end of the round robin competition we had the SUPER LEAGUE and the PREMIER LEAGUE where the top two (2) teams from each pool in the Super and the two (2) bottom teams played in the Premier. Competitions continue again for four (4) weeks then we had playoffs and the finals on November the 14^th.

The winners of the Super League are 1^st prize – Prosec, 2^nd Nature Fiji, 3^rd UN Team and 4^th Unwired Fiji Limited, the Premier League 1^st – Fiji School of Medicine, 2^nd Forum, 3^rd Fiji Development Bank. Winners were given money as prizes.

Basketball Fiji wishes to thank all the Business Houses for participating in this year’s competition. VINAKA VAKALEVU!!!!!
