Basketball Fiji Equipment lost in William & Gosling Fire

Basketball Fiji's is saddened to announce that our much anticipated equipments valuing over $4,500 and consisting of more than 350 rubber balls, coaching boards, referee's uniforms, playing jerseys  & rule books was destroyed in the William & Gosling Warehouse fire over the New Year weekend. The fire which is out of our control started on the 3rd of January, 2010. Firefighters and Insurance forensic investigaters are still trying to determine the cause of the fire. Basketball Fiji has lodged a claim on the equipments lost with William & Gosling and if successful will re-order the items. The equipments was purchased under the Australian Sporting Outreach Program.
