Boost for basketball teams

The Fijian men’s and women’s basketball teams leaves for New Zealand for the Oceania Championships with full smiles after receiving their new sets of uniforms yesterday.
They were donated by War Club Manufacturers Limited in Suva.
The Australian based company outfitted the teams with their new uniforms which will boost their performance in New Zealand in the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Oceania Championship which starts on Thursday.
War Club Manufacturers director Matthew Rasiga gave the team’s outfits yesterday.
National head coach Laisiasa Puamau said they were grateful for the help.
“The uniforms were top quality and it looks nice on the players. We thank Matthew for the kind donation,” Puamau said.
The team will depart for New Zealand tomorrow morning.
