SUVA LEAGUE KICKS OFF IN STYLE

On Tuesday this week, the Suva League Competition recommenced their Men’s and Women’s Basketball Competition at International Secondary School. This was the teams first hit out since the extremely successful Easter National Basketball Championships in April. The players, coaches and all those involved appreciate the associations continuing competitions as in previous years no basketball would be played after the Easter Championship. Basketball Fiji appreciates and supports the associations for continuing formal competition and turning basketball into a year round sport.

Thus, all the teams were out in force with both Easter Championship teams Executioners (women) and Shaq Ataq (mens) on display on Tuesday night.

The results   from Tuesday 12th of May

White Fire 27 (Melissa Lee 9 points) defeated Executioners 11 (Laisa Matairavula 6 points)
