Marist in b'ball semis
SEMI finalists for the 2011 Twisities National Secondary Schools Basketball Championship were confirmed after the last round of pool games yesterday afternoon.
In the Under 19 boys category Marist Brothers High School will face newcomers Lautoka Central College in the first semi while Yat Sen Secondary School will battle will LDS College in the second semi.
In the girls category defending champions ACS will face Natabua High School and LDS College will take on Yat Sen Secondary School.
Defending boys champion of the Under 17 grade Natabua High School will face Nadi International Secondary School while Marist will face John Wesley College.
In the girls division, St Joseph Secondary School will be up against Natabua High School while Yat Sen Secondary will face Ba Provincial College.
In the under 15 boys division a new champion will be crowned after Edupia were eliminated by Raiwaqa Juniors (under 14). Marist will face Gospel High School in the first semi while Raiwaqa Juniors will face Natabua High School.
In the girls division St Josephs will face Natabua High School while Raiwaqa Juniors will take on Gospel High School.
