The Raiwaqa Basketball Players Association will be hosting an U18 Basketball Tournament for both boys and girls which will run from the 4th May - 8th June 2013. Intersted teams or players looking to join a club is to contact Mereleni Waqairawai on 9337434
INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL NEW GYMNASIUM
This state of the art facility boasts a wooden floor, excellent lighting and several change rooms as well as office facilities.
As well as a full size basketball court, the gym has a volleyball and netball court. While the run off area at each end will preclude the use for international basketball games, the new gym is by far the best facility in Suva. With lots of padding around the walls the facility is very safe.
Basketball Fiji is excited about being able to use this facility and it is hoped that next year the school will allow BF to use the facility for competitions.
Basketball Fiji has offered ISS their expertise to conduct courses and assist with coaching clinics for their basketball teams in exchange for the use of the gym.
