Peter, at 17 years of age, was selected to the Youth Development Squad from the Secondary Schools Finals series last year and attended the Squad Camp in January in Suva.  From there Peter was selected into the National Youth Men's Squad and then the big decision was made between Peter and his parents to move him across to Suva for the 2008 school year.
Peter's work rate is high and his commitment to being at the track for each morning session by 5.15am obvious.  He has set himself some high goals and with such dedication he is assured of reaching some of his dreams.  Peter has had to adjust to a new school (Suva Grammar) and a new home (with his uncle and aunty) and new friends in Suva.  So far he is handling everything extremely well and is developing many skills that will take him a long way in his life.  WELL DONE, PETER CHAMBERS!
