GBC Open Try Outs For Micro Games and Oceania Youth Tournament

The Guam Basketball Confederation opened try outs for the local players on February 22, 24, and 25. The participants had three days to prove to a panel of judges that they are worthy of representing the Island of Guam on National based tournaments.

The panel of judges were to fill out a criteria for each athlete. The criteria evaluates each skill

such as dribbling, passing, defensive skills, shooting, decision making, and etc. The judges were appointed by board members. Most of the judges are currently coaching in the community.

A total of sixty men came out for the 19U and the Men's

Team. While a total of twenty-six women came out for the 19U and the Women's Team.

The final Roster for the both 19U and Women and Men's teams will be named at the end of March.
