Four games set for FBL Sunday

Four games will usher the resumption of the 2011 Filipino Basketball League (FBL), Sunday Sept. 11, at the Palau National gym.

Team Jaguar will try to snap its three games losing streak when they take on Hanpa Cardinals in the opener at 11 a.m. The Jaguars (5-8) hopes to score its first win in the second round to improve their chances as they will be led by Erwin Gonzalgo, Eric Dedeles, Jun Ponting, Nato Cayetano, Pet-Pet Joda, Joel Anorma, Budz Pabro, Gener Aguinaldo and Norbert Nova.

The Cardinals (2-12) also aims to nail a win in the second round as they will rely on Dennis Gonzales, Raymund Tan, Johnson Sicat, Glenn Oria, Rhey Capunong, George Bondoc, Nhey Quito and Mec Suerto.

In other games, Mam’l Divers Rangers will face the Aloha Maid Choppers at 12:30 p.m. as Guardians meet the Slashers at 2 p.m. while the Ilocandia Bulls will face Surangel and Sons at 3:30 p.m.
