Rudimch Government/Business League: MOF Omsangel claims 3rd win

Government division contender Ministry of Finance (MOF) Omsangel meant business as they nailed their third straight victory at the expense of Koror State Government (KSG), 85-82 Wednesday night in the ongoing 2011 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League at the Palau National gym.

Skipper John Stills paced MOF Omsangel with 26 points which another double digit performance following his 34 point finish in their 88-78 victory over Ministry of Justice (MOJ) Cops last Tuesday.

With the win, MOF Omsangel climbs up the team standing with a 3-0 win-loss record.

On the other hand, PNOC/PBRA Mercury Optimax scored their first win after beating Ministry of Education (MOE) II, 86-85. Jaques Stills led the scoring fray for PNOC/PBRA Mercury Optimax with 28 baskets while teammate Ziske Asanuma chipped in 25 as Rusky topscored for MOE II with 38 on the losing side.

In other games, MOE I bested MPIIC, 100-80; Sam’s Shark outscored Neco, 65-63; KSG won over PNCC Molekoi, 77-49; Spoilers drubbed Palasia Hotel, 115-66; Fish and Fins Hunters defeated Dollar 99, 85-63; and SDA Crusaders downs PRR Dragons, 77-52.

Games will resume tonight with PPUC Kamik versus Justice League at 6 p.m. followed by the PNOC/PBRA Mercury Optimax-MOJ Cops tussle at 7:30 p.m. Games on September 19 will have MPIIC against PNCC Molekoi at 6 p.m. as MOE II will meet PPUC Kamik at 7:30 p.m. while MOJ Cops will face KSG in the main game at 9 p.m.
