Cops get 2nd win in Rudimch Government/Business League

The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) Cops scored their second win in three outings at the expense of PNOC/PBRA Mercury Optimax, 86-68 Friday night in the ongoing 2011 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League at the Palau National gym.

Down 14-18 in the first quarter, the Cops found their scoring range in the second as they outscored PNOC/PBRA Mercury Optimax with a 24-17 output to take over the lead and close the first half with a 38-35 advantage.

From there, the Cops never looked back as they take the win for a 2-1 tally in the team standings. Bisa led the Cops with 16 makers while Jose Meltel topscored for PNOC/PBRA Mercury Optimax with 27.

In other games, PPUC Kamik won over Justice League, 20-0; Neco downed Dollar 99, 72-58; Spoilers drubbed PPR Shark Attack, 86-66; and Mason’s Hardware defeated Sam’s Sharks, 107-72.

Games will resume tonight with SDA Crusaders versus Palasia Hotel at 6 p.m. followed by the PRR Royals-Fish and Fins Hunters match at 7:30 p.m. while Mason’s Hardware will face the Spoilers at 9 p.m.

September 21 games will have Justice League against MOE Spiders at 6 p.m. as PNOC/PBRA Mercury Optimax will meet MOF Omsangel at 7:30 p.m. while Dollar 99 will test Sam’s Shark at 9 p.m. September 22 games will feature PPR Shark Attack taking on SDA Crusaders at 6 p.m. followed by the PRR Royals-Neco game at 7:30 p.m. while Fish and Fins Hunters will play Palasia in the main game at 9 p.m.
