Four games set as FBL resumes Sunday

Four games will be featured Sunday in the resumption of the 2011 Filipino Basketball League (FBL) at the Palau National gym.

Defending champion Western Union will gun for its 14th win when take on the Aloha Maid Choppers in the curtain raiser at 11 a.m. Sporting a 13-2 win-loss record, Western Union aims to solidify its hold of the top spot as they will be led by Bong Alambra, Erwin Senadre, Emerson Patenia and Jeff Cruz.

The Choppers (8-7), on the other hand, will try to spoil the party for the defending champs as they will again rely on the team on PJ Esguerra, Ronald Reyes, Mark Lofranco, Noel Caparas and Rey Potot.

In other games, PNQ Rams will meet the Hanpa Cardinals at 12:30 p.m. as the Jaguar will face the Spoilers at 2 p.m. while Mam’l Divers Rangers will test the Slashers in the main game at 3:30 p.m.
