WU meets Jaguar as D’Originals face 9-Ball squad

Western Union will try to nip its third straight win as when they face the Jaguars while D’Originals will have their hands full when they meet the 9-Ball team on Sunday in the resumption of the 2012 season of the Filipino Basketball League and Master’s League at the Palau National gym.

Sporting a 2-0 win-loss column, Western Union aims to keep track with its hunt when they meet the Jaguars at 2 p.m. Set to pace Western Union are Bong Alambra, Erwin Senadre, Dennis Castro, Emerson Patenia, Jun Ponting, Edward Baysa and Erwin Igamen while the Jaguars (1-1) will rely on Arli Alba, Budz Pabro, Michael Garcia, Zaldy Rodriguez, Joel Anorma, Pet-Pet Joda and Delmar Mondragon.

In other games, defending champion FR Spoilers will face Hanpa Cardinals at 12:30 p.m. while the Rams/Guardians will take on Surangel and Sons in the main game at 3:30 p.m.

On the other hand, D’Originals will try to score their second victory when they face 9-Ball squad at 11 a.m. in the Master’s league.

Both teams are sporting identical 1-0 win-loss records. D’Originals will parade veteran skipper Jimmy Domingo, Cid Aquino, Rogelio Fernandez, Renato Ogana, Renato Cayetano and Jojo Marino while 9-Ball will have Sonny Jacinto, Nelson Baysa and Ernie Magsipoc.
