4x4 Wheelers on a winning roll in IP&E NBL

Team 4x4 Wheelers continue their winning streak this time at the expense of Meda, 84-72 Thursday night in the ongoing 2012 season of the IP&E National Basketball League (NBL) at the Palau National gym.

4x4 Wheelers duo of Gino Smau and Temol Malsol paced their team as they finished with 31 and 27 points, respectively. The win puts 4x4 Wheelers in solid second place in the team standings with a 12-3 win-loss record.

Teammates Joshua and Brooks topscored for Meda with identical 14 markers respectively as their team slipped to 6-10.

Friday night games were rescheduled as it was a holiday.

Games will resume tonight with Nationals 17 Under versus Aqua Smooth at 6 p.m. while FR Spoilers will face Melengoes at 9 p.m. Tomorrow’s match ups will feature Peched Raw against Meda at 7:30 p.m. as Islanders will meet Mercury Optimax at 9 p.m.

Thursday night games will have 4x4 Wheelers taking Melengoes at 6 p.m. while Mercury Optimax will be pitted against Surangel Kings in the main game at 9 p.m.
