Despite teams not showing up last week, the 2012 Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) Super League resumes tonight at the Palau National gym.

Games will feature Ongos versus Diluches at 6 p.m. while Ngebard will meet Dims in the main game at 7:30 p.m.

Last Thursday none of the teams showed up for the scheduled games that resulted in double forfeiture for all the squads.

As follows are the participating squads, their members and respective coaches: Team Dims – Cheyenne Isimang, Colleen Gibbons, Ipolani Kebekol, Lauren Carlton, Lucy Aguon, Oreng Ngemaes, Sarahbeth Ksano, Sesengel Ketebengang, Tanya Patris and Tara Tamakong with Rayson King as coach; Team Diluches – Athena Mengloi, Ayla Azuma, Belbult Idesemang, Dilngerii Maech, Holly Farlin, Mahealani Adelbai, Nicole Sisior, Patty Ucherkemur, Pkoi Higa and Rosang Kelulau with Ryan Z. as coach; Team Ongos – Andrea Uchel, Holly Yamada, Isabel Goodall, Jessalyn de Leon, Jubilee Kuartei, Leilani Etpison, Lina Kintoki, Sanya Olkeriil, Sim Tellei and Willa Oiterong with Stalin and Kiruu as coaches; and Team Ngebard – Courtney Tellei, Diliaur Kumaichi, Dilkot Williams, Edumyle Otobed, Esichang Ubedei, Jaime Ngirausui, Jaimee Nestor, Joanne Mikel, Rosella Fernando and Whisper Tirso with Douglas Schmidt Jr. as coach.

WNBL officials stated that if a player is unable to play in this year’s Super League, she must inform the WNBL officials as soon as possible so that she can be replaced by another player who is available. Failure to officially pull out in this year’s Super League may result in ineligibility to participate in future Super Leagues.

Thursday night matches will have Diluches against Dims at 6 p.m. while Ongos will face Ngebard in the main game at 7:30 p.m.

The tournament follows a two round robin elimination format after which teams will move on to the play offs with the winners advancing to the finals while the losers will face off for the consolation round.
