PNCC Molekoi, team Palau beat foes in Rudimch Enterprise GBL

Team Palau National Communications Corporation (PNCC) Molekoi and team Palau showed force as they beat their respective rivals, Wednesday night in the ongoing 2012 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League at the Palau National gym.

After grabbing the lead in the opening quarter, PNCC Molekoi went all the way to beat Palasia Hotel, 80-68 at the close of the elimination round. Taking a 21-14 lead in the opening tip off, PNCC Molekoi went to close the first half with a 36-30 advantage.

From there, PNCC Molekoi went all the way to score the win with Asailee Yamada leading the scoring chores with 20 points while Pius topscored for Palasia Hotel with 28 on the losing end.

On the other hand, team Palau is gelling well as they drubbed the FBL selection, 126-70 in preparation for their stint to the 2012 Micronesian Basketball Tournament (MBT) Open division in Guam.

Douglas Schmidt paced team Palau with 22 as Michael Bombita led the FBL selection with 18 on the losing side.

In other games, PPR Stingrays won over WCTC, 65-64; KSG Royals downed team ABC, 72-38; PNCC Molekoi bested PPUC Kamik, 78-75; Surangel and Sons won over Galaxy Builders, 20-0; MOE Spiders defeated MPIIS, 89-78; and KSG Royals routed MOE II, 79-50.

Team representatives and coaches are reminded of the meeting on September 24 at 11:30 a.m. at the Palau National gym. Division playoffs and finals will be part of the agenda.
