MOF Omsangel, PPR Shark Attack enter Rudimch Enterprise GBL semis
Top squads Ministry of Finance (MOF) Omsangel and Palau Pacific Resort (PPR) Shark Attack advance into the semi final round after beating respective foes, Wednesday night, in the 2012 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League at the Palau National gym.
MOF Omsangel had an easy assignment as they bested team ABC, 80-72. Leading 42-26 at the end of the first half, MOF Omsangel went all the way to secure the top spot in the semis of the Government Division.
Tutii Benjamin paced MOF Omsangel with 21 points while Jayven Emesiochel topscored for team ABC with 25 on the losing end.
On the other hand, PPR Shark Attack move on to the semi final round after winning over Sam’s Sharks, 72-66. Pesky shooting guard Dennis Castro led the way for PPR Shark Attack as he finished with 27 baskets while Wade Rdechor and Franky Kuchad paced Sam’s Sharks with 22 and 21 on the losing end.
In other games, MOJ Cops drubbed MOE II, 111-64.
Games resume tonight with KSG Royals versus MPIIC at 6 p.m. while PNCC Molekoi will face MOE Spiders in the main game at 7:30 p.m.
Winners in the playoff round will move on to the semifinals which will tip off on October 2.
