PHS, MHS moves into playoff in ISL Girls varsity hoopfest
Teams Palau High School Black Widow and Mindszenty High School (MHS) Lady Cardinals barges into the play off round as top contenders of the 2012 Inter-School League (ISL) Girls varsity basketball league played at the Palau National gym.
PHS Black Widow enters the play off round with a 4-0 win-loss record and is set to meet PHS Wolf Spider (1-3) in the semis while MHS Lady Cardinals (3-1) will meet Bethania High School (BHS) Stellars (2-2) in the other semis match.
The semis will be played today starting at 4 p.m. with the winners advancing to the championship set on November 7 while the losers will battle for the consolation match on November 6 at the Palau National gym.
Specially crafted trophies will be given to the winners immediately after the championship game which is supervised by the Palau Basketball Federation (PBF). By Peter Erick L. Magbanua (Island Times News)
