GBH, SDA takes 2nd win in EASC Central School boys bball

Teams George B. Harris Elementary School and Seventh Day Adventist Elementary School scored their second win after beating separate foes in the ongoing 2013 Elementary After School Competition (EASC) Central School boys basketball tournament.

GBH landed their second win at the expense of Koror Elementary School (KES), 44-23. After taking a 14-8 lead in the first quarter, GBH displayed their defensive and offensive prowess as they never looked back to score the win with Triston Kintaro leading the way with 10 points.

On the other hand, Seventh Day Adventist Elementary School scored their second win after beating Maris Stella School, 75-37.

With the wins, both GBH and Seventh Day Adventist Elementary School are now tied in the team standings with identical 2-0 win-loss record while KES suffered its third setback for a 0-3 card while MSS absorbed its second loss for a 0-2 tally in the team standings.

Games will resume today with KES versus MSS at the Palau National gym while GBH will face MES tomorrow also at the Palau National gym. Thursday’s match will feature Seventh Day Adventist Elementary School versus GBH at the Seventh Day Adventist gym.

Games will start at 3:30 p.m. Competing schools include Seventh Day Adventist Elementary School; Koror Elementary School; Maris Stella School; George B. Harris Elementary School and Meyuns Elementary School.
