MES Dolphins takes third place in EASC Central School boys bball

Team Meyuns Elementary School (MES) Dolphins settled for third place honors after beating Koror Elementary School (KES), 53-46 Wednesday in the 2013 Elementary After School Competition (EASC) Central School boys basketball tournament.

The Dolphins showed might as they muscled their way in the second quarter and spurted a 22-26 run to establish a 41-30 lead at the half. From there, the Dolphins stood their ground as they went for the win.

Elton Sepemang paced the Dolphins with 12 points as teammate Altar Kintoki chipped in 10 while Santini Masaichi topscored for KES with 14 on the losing side.

In other games, GBH beat KES, 71-37 and SDA Kings won over MES Dolphins, 54-46.

The battle for the championship between George B. Harris Elementary School against Seventh Day Adventist Elementary School Kings is still ongoing as of this writing.

Competing schools include Seventh Day Adventist Elementary School; Koror Elementary School; Maris Stella School; George B. Harris Elementary School and Meyuns Elementary School.
