Spoilers seek to sweep series in FBL c’ship
Defending champion FR Spoilers seek to sweep its best of three championship series as they face anew Western Union, Sunday in Game Two of the 2013 season of the Filipino Basketball League at the Palau National gym.
The Spoilers, who took Game One via 91-78, are set to close down the series as they play at 1:30 p.m.
Set to pace the Spoilers are Michael Bombita, Coco Gonzales, Aries Echanova, Mark Pagayanan, Lester Mendoza, Francis Tan, former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) players Gil Lomboy and Val Domingo.
On the other hand, Western Union aims to extend the series as they will rely on its line up composed of Dennis Castro, Bong Alambra, Gener Aguinaldo, Erwin Senadre, Ronald Magcalas, Janno Toquero, Michael Garcia and Anon Cajegas.
Games are supervised by the Palau Basketball Federation (PBF). This year’s FBL League is supported by ATT Bar and Restaurant, HE Automotive, Palasia Hotel, Palau Royal Resort, Surangel and Sons Company, FR Construction, Engrs.
