NBL Selection dumps Peched Raw, 116-88

The National Basketball League (NBL) selection will not go home empty handed after all as they went on to dumped Peched Raw, 116-88 Wednesday night in the ongoing 2013 National Basketball League (NBL) Super League at the Palau National gym.

Down 53-54 after the first half, the NBL Selection unleashed a 30-15 run in the third canto to stretch their lead at 83-69. From there, the NBL Selection held on to their lead and prevented any Peched Raw comeback as they score the win.

Mike Williams and Elway Ngiraboi led the scoring chores for the NBL Selection with identical 25 points, respectively while Franky Kuchad added 18. It was a great game for the NBL Selection as all of their players finished in double digits. Brandon Harvey, Armando Canseco and Ody Yalap all finished with identical 16 markers, in that order.

On the other hand, Perry Oiterong carried the weight for Peched Raw as he clipped 33 points while teammate King Ngiraboi added 20 on the losing end.

Despite the lost, Peched Raw still kept the top spot in the team standings with a 2-1 win-loss record as the Nationals are in second also with a 2-1 tally. FR Spoilers are in third with a 1-2 as NBL Selection are in last place also with a 1-2 mark.

Games tonight will showcase Peched Raw against the NBL Selection anew at 6 p.m. the winner will then move on to the championship game set on September 10 while the losers will play in the consolation on September 9.
