MOJ Lawmen takes Gov’t. title in Rudmich Enterprise GBL
Team Ministry of Justice (MOJ) Lawmen rallied in the third quarter as they went on to beat MOF Omsangel, 82-81 and take the Government division title in the 2013 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League played last November 11 at the Palau National gym.
Trailing 39-41 at the end of the first half, the Lawmen spurted a 22-18 run in the third as they take a precarious 61-59 lead. Then they fought till the end despite being outran in the final quarter, still they managed to hold ground and went on for the win.
Elway Ngiraiboi tallied 22 points for the Lawmen as teammate Jason Brell chipped in 17 while Tutii Benjamin normed 14 baskets to lead MOF Omsangel as they settled for runners up.
In the season finals, WCTC Powerball rolled off as they drubbed Hanpa Cardinals, 99-79. After taking a 22-6 advantage, WCTC never looked back as they waxed hot from both ends of the floor to take the win.
Coco Gonzales led WCTC with 31 markers as Raymund Tan topscored for the Cardinals with 24 points on the losing end.
