Spoilers, Stars eye another win in FBL Sunday

Defending champion FR Spoilers and Surangel Stars guns for another win as they take on separate foes, Sunday, in the resumption of the 2014 season of the Filipino Basketball League (FBL) at the Palau National gym.

Taking the opening day win, FR Spoilers are poised to score their second win as they will face team Rams in the curtain raiser at 11 a.m. Despite missing the services of Lester Mendoza, the Spoilers will bank on its line up composed of Michael Bombita, Coco Gonzales, Mark Pagayanan, Aries Echanova, Francis Tan and Sarry Maata.

Losing their first assignment, the Rams will try to give the Spoilers a good fight as they will have Jake Mahor, Ronald Reyes, Jhun and Alvin Magcalas, Ronnel Dato, Julivic Munion and Erwin Igamen.

On the other hand, Surangel Stars will have their hands full as they take on Hanpa Cardinals in the main game at 3:30 p.m.

Surangel Stars will be led by their big front line composed of Arnold Undecimo, GJ Asido, Bong Gayongorza, Ronald Magcalas, Ador Hilvano and Dines Demate while Hanpa Cardinals will rely on Phillip Maniago, Mhomar Sismaet, Johnson Sicat, Raymund Tan, Ben Orbasayan and Ramar Malinao.

In other games, Western Union will test the Jaguars at 12:30 p.m. while the Ilocandia Bulls take on the PECI Spartans at 2 p.m.
