Neco, MOJ Lawmen battle for season finals in Rudmich Enterprise GBL

A perfect match for a perfect season ending.

Business division champion team Neco will battle Government division champion Ministry of Justice (MOJ) Lawmen for the season finals of the 2013 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League played at the Palau National gym.

Team Neco barged their way into the finals after beating Ministry of Finance (MOF) Omsangel, 90-63 in the semifinals. Traxx Mark led the scoring fray for Neco in that game finishing with 23 points while teammates Nico Hinoza, Arvin Pramo and Jomar Naguit chipped in 19, 13 and 12 baskets, respectively.

On the other hand, Sunshine Soalablai topscored for MOF Omsangel with 21 as Jeffrey Tkel added 14 while Tutii Benjamin and Roydan Renguul tallied identical 13 markers, in that order.

Meanwhile, MOJ Lawmen took the last seat in the finals as they defeated Palau Royal Resort (PRR) Dragons, 82-65. Jason Brell topscored for the Lawmen with 20 points while Roger Santos carried the load for the Dragons with 25 on the losing end.

Game One of their best of three championship series is being played as of this writing while Game Two will be tonight at 6 p.m. Game Three, if necessary will be on Wednesday night also at 6 p.m.
