Rangers, Choppers battle foes in FBL Sunday

Team Royal Cargo Rangers and Aloha Maid Choppers gun for their first win of the season when they take on separate foes, Sunday in the resumption of the 2014 season of the Filipino Basketball League (FBL) at the Palau National gym.

Losing their first game, the Royal Cargo Rangers are set to do battle against a much younger Liquid Skyy Dragons at 12:30 p.m. The Rangers will be led by brothers Jay and Jomar Naguit, Emerson Patenia, Nico Hinoza, veteran skipper Jimmy Domingo, Jayson Tabuyo and Cid Aquino.

On the other hand, Liquid Skyy Dragons, which made a team rebuilding during the off season will have Joey Tabaquero, Jerome Castillo, Jun Bautista, Noel Nuqui, Jonathan Pablo, Dovie and Leomar de Jesus and the troika of Kim, Vic and Ninoy Agsalud.

Meanwhile, the Aloha Maid Choppers will try to gun for its first win also when they face the PNQ Crushers in the main game at 3:30 p.m. The Aloha Maid Choppers, sponsored by Shimbros International, will rely on the services of Arvin Pramo, Arvin Tacder, Mark Louie Lofranco, Jojo Cervantes, Eric Dedeles, JR Grapa and Mario Gonzales while PNQ Crushers will have Boyet Arevalo, Nathan Daligdig, Nikko Datu, Rafael Olasiman and Reejee Ybanez.

Other games will feature PECI Spartans versus Western Union at 11 a.m. while the Jaguars will meet Hanpa Cardinals at 2 p.m.
