Spoilers take on WU five in FBL Sunday

Defending champion FR Spoilers aim to improve their standing as they face off with arch rival Western Union on Sunday in the resumption of the Filipino Basketball League (FBL) at the Palau National gym.

It will be a finals-like atmosphere when these two teams meet in the main game at 3:30 p.m.

The Spoilers, sporting a 5-1 win-loss record, will try to get back in the leader board as they will bank on the performances of Michael Bombita, Coco Gonzales, Leo Sebastian, Mark Pagayanan and Francis Tan.

On the other hand, Western Union (6-0) will try to keep its winning record intact as they will be led by Bong Alambra, Dennis Castro, Michael Garcia, Anon Cajegas, Medel Cuyugan, Darwin Fuentebella, Al Obrero, and Erwin Senadre.

In other games, PNQ Crushers will take on Surangel Stars in the curtain raiser at 11 a.m. followed by the Hanpa Cardinals-PECI Spartans tussle at 12:30 p.m. while Liquid Skyy Dragons will face the Ilocandia Bulls at 2 p.m.
