Participating teams takes a break this Sunday as the Filipino Basketball League (FBL) holds it All Star Weekend at the Palau National gym.

Festivities will start at 11 a.m. the event will open with the skills challenge which is the buzzer beater contest followed by the 3-point shootout. One of the much awaited side event is the Gay All Star exhibition match.

It will then be followed by the rookies/sophomores versus juniors/seniors match. For the rookies/sophomores, the team will be composed of Leo Magcalas (Surangel Stars), Leo Sebastian (FR Spoilers), RB Dorado (Ilocandia Bulls), Marvic Ngchar (Ilocandia Bulls), ZJ Asido (Surangel Stars), Rex de Asis (Surangel Stars), Mark Mirasol (PECI Spartans), Richard Alasagas (PECI Spartans), Gary Esplago (Royal Cargo Rangers), Jover Molina (Jaguar), Reeve Ybanez (PNQ Crushers) and Marty Lumiguis (Rams).

For the juniors/seniors, it will parade Dinnis “LC” Demate (Surangel Stars), Bong Gayongorza (Surangel Stars), Ronel Dato (Rams), Erwin Senadre (Western Union), Edward Baysa (Ilocandia Bulls), Ronald Reyes (Rams), Johnson Sicat (Hanpa Cardinals), Jojo Arevalo (PNQ Crushers), Arvin “The Mouth” Tacder (Aloha Maid Choppers), John Ronald “The Director” Grapa (Aloha Maid Choppers), Raymund Tan (Hanpa Cardinals) and Ronald Mamuyac (Royal Cargo Rangers).

The main event will be the All Star team A versus the All Star team B. Making it to the line up of the All Star team A are Arnold “Mr. Excitement” Undecimo (Surangel Stars), Dennis “The Menace” Castro (Western Union), Anon Cajegas (Western Union), Ronald Magcalas (Surangel Stars), Bong “The Silencer” Alambra (Western Union), Mark Louie “The Gentle Giant” Lofranco (Aloha Maid Choppers), Al Obrero (Western Union), Jay “The Sky Scrapper” Naguit (Royal Cargo Rangers), Mike “The Sharp Shooter” Guevarra (Royal Cargo Rangers), Rey Atacador (Jaguar) and Gener “The Sniper” Aguinaldo (Jaguar). Coaching for the All Star team A is RJ Jusay of Western Union.

On the other hand, the All Star team B will be composed of Leonilo “The Magician” Gonzales (FR Spoilers), Michael “Boom-Boom” Bombita (FR Spoilers), June “The Big Deal” Bautista (Liquid Skyy Dragons), Dovie de Jesus (Liquid Skyy Dragons), Mhomar Sismaet (Hanpa Cardinals), Philip “The Tower” Maniago (Hanpa Cardinals), Joeger Supnet (Ilocandia Bulls), Raul “The Rock” Osias (Ilocandia Bulls), Arvin “The Dynamite” Pramo (Aloha Maid Choppers), Mark Pagayanan (FR Spoilers), Aries Echanova (FR Spoilers) and Ryan Cacho (Ilocandia Bulls). They will be coached by Jun dela Cruz.
