First Leg of 9th Annual Island Jams tips off June 28

Brand new basketball and bragging rights will be at stake when the first leg of the much awaited 9th Annual Island Jams basketball tournament tips off on June 28, Saturday, at the Ngerchemai basketball court.

The tournament will follow the 3-on-3 format and will have two divisions namely the 9 to 13 years old and the 14 to 18 years old categories. The tournament will be played in a round robin format and each team will play equal amount of games.

Registration fee is pegged at $1 per player and registration forms must be filled up and submitted together with the registration fee either at the PNOC office or during the game day.

Brand new basketballs will be given away to the winners of the tournament. After Ngerchemai, the tournament heads to Ngerkesoaol on July 5 for the second leg while the third and final leg will be on July 12 in Ngerbeched.
