Fish n’ Fins dumps Neco in Rudimch Enterprise GBL

Team Fish N’ Fins scored a major upset as they halted defending champion Neco, 79-76 Wednesday night in the 2014 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League at the Palau National gym.

Fish N’ Fins took an early start as they established an 18-10 lead and they spurted a 19-8 run in the second to take a 37-18 advantage. Neco tried their best to recover in the second half as they push a 33-24 run in the last canto. But was not enough to fuel a comeback as Fish N’ Fins took the win.

Moses led the scoring chores for Fish N’ Fins with 26 while teammates Castro, Erwin and Ricko chipped in 16, 15 and 11 markers, respectively. Nico Hinoza, on the other hand, topscored for Neco with 30 as teammate Boy added 20 on a losing cause.

In other games, MOF Omsangel drubbed team Malii, 85-51 behind the 36 point production of Weston; MOJ Lawmen won over team ABC, 80-51; PPR Shark Attack bested Mason Mercury, 118-85; PRR Dragons breathe fire over Island Rhythm, 83-71; WCTC Powerball defeated PPR Stingrays, 80-59; Yrang’s Salon beat SDA Crusaders, 79-59; PPUC dumped MOE Spiders, 82-58; and KSG Royals halted MOH Band Aid, 89-74.

Games resume tonight with President’s X-Men versus PNCC Molekoi at 6 p.m. while MOE Spiders will face KSG Royals in the main game at 7:30 p.m.

Coaches, team representatives and managers will be having a technical meeting on August 25, 11:30 a.m. at the PNOC conference room to discuss schedules, team rosters and registration fee payments. Attendance is a must.
