RMI Men's team competing in Guam MBT
The RMI national men’s basketball team competing in the Micronesian Basketball Tournament on Guam from September 23-29, 2012 is heavy on veterans with Micro Game experience, with a few new faces in the mix.
They are led by Wayne Anjain, Baby Lometo, Taule Loeak and Bolear Bokna — all of whom were on the RMI national team that came within two points of upsetting the Guam men’s team at the Micro Games in Palau in 2010. Kyle ‘Bolet’ Paul is making his first appearance on a national men’s team, but led RMI’s 15-and-under team to the championship in Pohnpei in 2011, where he was named tournament MVP.
The complete men’s roster: Wayne Anjain, Rog ‘Laburoro’ Bien, Bolear Bokna, Noah Kabua, Willis ‘Mokku’ Lamille, Jeffery ‘Taule’ Loeak, Nathaniel ‘Baby’ Lometo, Yuuzi ‘Lajji’ Maddison, Kyle ‘Bolet’ Paul, Keoki Pinho, Frederick ‘Nao’ Shoniber and Schuyler ‘Melu’ Wase.
The team is coached by Thomas Heine and Mouj Lewi.
