Marshalls men celebrate 2 wins with midnight dinner
The Marshall Islands men's team at the Micronesian Basketball Tournament on Guam won two games, wrapping up play around 11pm Monday night, September 24.
The RMI men took on Pohnpei at 5pm on Monday, defeating their FSM neighbor 101-85. They had time for a one-game rest and snack before their 9pm game against Chuuk, which they won 95-59.
They returned to the Nimitz apartments around midnight for a dinner prepared by the RMI women's team.
Team spirit in the RMI group is great with the delegation working together to support the men's and women's teams, especially the challenging men's schedule, which is seeing the RMI play six games in four days from Sunday through Wednesday.
