Diamond K, MUGA back RMI teams in Guam
On behalf of the Marshall Islands Basketball Federation, Secretary General Deborah K. Shoniber thanked Diamond K and Michelle and Melissa Kramer for their "generous donation of an astounding 19 cases of bottled water. Wow! We are overwhelmed with appreciation and humbled by your generosity. Kindly be assured that your donation will be used to good and much needed use for both the RMI Men and Women's National Teams during the Guam Micronesian Basketball Tournament."
Deborah also extended the appreciation of the Federation to MUGA (Marshallese United in Guam Association), the Staff and Management of Diamond K as well as Nimitz Towers management, staff, and their families for the daily support with the teams. Whether it be transportation to and from Nimitz Towers (where the teams are staying), baking delicious banana cupcakes to provide energy, or gathering the Marshallese women to repair and do alterations on the uniforms.
"Your endless support means a lot to the RMI Delegation and assures the players that people like you give reason to try really hard to give it all they have in this Tournament," Deborah said in extending the Federation's appreciation.
