Women's First Round Playoff Schedule Announced
The Marshall Islands national women's team will match up with Guam's national team on Friday at 6pm in the opening round of the Micronesian Basketball Tournament Women's Bracket playoffs.
The MBT Guam organizers announced Thursday the seeding for the women's bracket playoffs that start Friday. The RMI women are seeded number four and will play top-ranked Guam. The Guam Jr. team is seeded number two and the University of Guam is seeded number three. They will play off at the same time Friday. Both games are scheduled for 6pm at the UOG Fieldhouse.
The winners of these two games will go to the gold medal game on Saturday at 4pm, while the losers will play off for the bronze medal at 12noon Saturday.
Men's bracket playoff seedings had not yet been announced as of 6pm Thursday (Majuro time).
