Bishop Brothers Open Women Pool B Minor Premiers
After the last round of 2008 Corporate Touch Port Moresby season, Bishop Brothers Bulldogs Touch Football Club is the minor premier in Pool B of the Open Women division.
As a token of appreciation, the sponsor Bishop Brothers Engineering Ltd General Manager Mark Hird congratulated the minor premiers with a new printed uniform at the cost of K1500 for their final playoff matches. Also another K500 cash was given to the club for an outing at Sir Donald Cleland’s swimming pool at Taurama Leisure Centre over the weekend. In their new outfit, the barky BBE bulldogs girls outsmarted BSP Smart Bank 3-2 in the Pool B Open Women division elimination finals and are on bye this week to play the major-semis next week during the Week 3 final playoffs of the 2008 Corporate Touch Port Moresby season.
Minor Premiers in Pool B are Senior Mix: Frangipani Hostel and Open Men: Prosec Security while in Pool A Open Women: Niuford Waterboard, Senior Mix: Niuford Waterbaord, Open Men: ATIL # 56 and BSP Smart Bank Masters Team are the minor premiers of CTPM 2008 Season.
However there will be only one divisional champion team when the winners in respective pools swap after the major semi-final to play the grand finale.
