5TH PNG GAMES LAUNCHED IN KOKOPO, ENBP
On the 9th March 2012 the Host Province of the 5th PNG Games, East New Britain Province Launch the Games at the Takubar Sports Ground. The countdown to November 19th—30th began. At the Launching was the Sports Minister Hon. Sali Subam, MP, Stakeholders to the PNG Games Council were Mrs Iammo G Launa, OBE, MBE, BEM, Mrs Auvita Rapilla the Secretary General of the PNG Sports Federation Inc. & Olympic Committee and Mr Edris A Kumbruwa, ML , the Technical Advisor of the PNG Games Council, dignitaries, Provincial Representatives affiliated to the PNG Games Council, families and friend. It was a memorable moment as 252 days to go and preparations are well underway. The PNG Games Host Organizing Committee Secretariat Office has been set up to kickstart its operation effectively. It will engage multi skill and effective officers to get the ball rolling for a successful 5th PNG Games in ENB.
