Solomon Island men pull off another win!
The Solomon men have a come a long way in this tournament. After their first two losses against Samoa and Guam, defeating Tahiti has started a winning streak for them. It was a very close game between Solomon Islands and American Samoa which had the crowd cheering equally loud for each team.
The first quarter ended with American Samoa ahead at 12 to Solomon's 8. However, the second quarter had the Solomon men take control with Moses Kivo scoring a three pointer and bringing the half time score to Solomon's 26, American Samoa 15.
The attempt by American Samoa to rescue the game enabled them to score 22 points to Solomon's 16 in the third quarter. The Solomon's didn't take the game lightly and with excellent speed and intercepts, the game ended with the Solomon men winning by 5 points to American Samoa's 56.
