PNG Womens are the GOLD medalists for SPG 2007
It was a hot tough final for PNG and American Samoa with PNG scoring 2 runs in the 2nd innings. The match was tight with 3 down and 3 up in all the innings. American Samoa scored just the 1 run in the final innings for PNG to take home the GOLD medal for this years South PAcific Games. Well done to both teams the match was exciting and had us hanging off our seats!
To PNG, you guys rock! Throughout the tournament a consistant approach to the Gold and saw the flare and fighting spirits in you that well managed to secure a Gold for your country Malo lava!
American Samoa and Palua, it was a please having you in Samoa may God Bless you all together with our beloved Samoan squad. Look forward to the next SPG 2007 but from all of us here in Samoa, tofa soifua!
