Warren Wins Gold for Fiji

For the men's final, top seed Warren Yee of Fiji went up against New Caledonian second seed Laurent Gupey. In what was a long and intense match Warren began strong taking the first two sets, before Laurent fought back to take the next two leveling the match at 2 games apiece, in the final set Warren was able to summon up that extra bit of strength to take the set and ultimately the gold medal for Fiji.

The playoff for the bronze was between the New Caledonians Robert Stirrup and Gael Gosse. Robert was to strong for his young compatriot taking the match 3-1 to claim the bronze medal.
