Judo Association of Samoa signs for Apia Park

The Judo Association of Samoa (JAS) represented by President, Francois Martel, and Treasurer, Toshio Suzuki, signed an agreement this morning with SSFA to lease half of the Apia Park Gymnasium for a three year term.

SSFA was represented by CEO, Dr. Siaosi G. Salesulu and ACEO, Ms. Lufilufi L. Rasmussen.

Last weekend, JAS hosted the extremely successful 2008 Samoa Games Judo Championships with representatives from around the Pacific. The event was also attended by Clare Hargrave, President of the Oceania Judo Association (OJU), and Brent Cooper, Treasurer of the OJU.

Mr. Martel proudly displayed his Black Belt Certification after successfully meeting the set criteria this week at their training with the OJU.
