The Fijians Have Landed
The Fijian Barbarians are here in Apia for the PRC Tournament. They were seen yesterday practising their moves during their team practice game at Apia Park yesterday afternoon. The team had a lively practice game, which ended in a rousing Fijian song, and the Barbarians showing their obvious singing talents, all in full voice. The 3 part harmony was music to our ears, with people stopping to listen to the rich tenor voices. They dispersed after a prayer thanking those who had stopped to observe the song and prayer. We hope this harmony continues to shine during their game against the Upolu Samoa team. Watch this space, people. We will report the score in our next posting. We wish both teams the very best of luck at Apia Park.
