Brisbane Comes to Samoa

The team consisted of 25 school children and 5 adults, two of whom were coaches.  They used this trip as an opportunity to both train in a more relaxed atmosphere and took the opportunity to also have a vacation.  Sightseeing tours were organized to Lalomanu, Palolo Deep and to various other interesting sights around the Island.  Upon their recent departure, the team commented that they had a wonderful time and enjoyed the great facilities that Samoa had to offer.  They also said that they were going home to tell everyone how great their stay in in Samoa has been and  will encourage other schools in Australia to pursue the same holiday swimming & training programme they have just experienced.  The group felt that it was an excellent educational journey as it was a cultural first for everyone, including the parents & coaches.  We welcome other swim teams who would like to come to Samoa for their winter training.
